Directions to Waldemar

If you are coming from Austin get on 290 West (Johnson City) and go to Fredericksburg. Then you get on Hwy 16 heading south. When you get to Kerrville get on I 10 heading west (right) and go to the Harper /Ingram Exit. (It is the first exit after you get on 10) Then follow black directions below

When you leave San Antonio, you’ll want to get on Interstate 10 going West towards El Paso. You’ll stay on I 10 through Boerne and Comfort.  It will take about 45 to 60 minutes to reach Kerrville. You’ll pass over the HWY 16 exit and take the next exit: Harper/Ingram exit. Then follow the black directions below.

Go around and over the overpass then turn right towards Kerrville and you’ll drive through a residential area.

When you get to Junction Hwy you’ll see a large building on the right called Moore’s Furniture Store, you’ll take a right onto Junction Hwy (or Hwy 27).  Go about  6 miles to Ingram. In Ingram Hwy. 27 forks to the right, you will need to stay to the left (going straight)and  you will be on TX 39.

Go about 6 miles on Texas 39 to Hunt.

In Hunt, right after the Camp La Junta River crossing, turn RIGHT on FM 1340.

If you go past Elaine’s Table or the Hunt Store you’ve just missed the turn!

Drive about 4.5 miles on the North Fork(FM 1340)        

 to the Waldemar Gate on your right.
